In 1958 Cecil and Eileen Clarke established a dance school in Belfast at our present location in Donegall
Street. In the early days we were mainly into the Ballroom dancing both socially and competitively and when it came to the early 60s we introduced the early stages of Latin American.
Both styles grew and grew over the coming years and when i came along in 1978 I brought the start of the disco line dance routines taken from the movie Saturday Night Fever. This trend continued for a number of years making way for Argentine Tango and then Salsa and today Hip-Hop/ street-dance.
In 2017 the present owner / director ALAN CLARKE received the British empire medal in the Queens birthday honours list for services to dance education in Northern Ireland.
We will continue to strive to bring the best in dance education to all in the years to come and look forward to seeing you at our classes.
